Grove Cottage, 12 High Street

Grove Cottage is at the far end of a row of cottages built circa 1760 at the head of the footpath to Whaddon Church. The name comes from a grove of trees just north of the footpath.

Grove Cottage (next door to Sweet Apple Cottage) betakes its full name from the “Grove Footpath”.  It is a reconstructed building, but this work has been tastefully executed.
