The Village Hall

The Village Hall was built in the late 1850’s or early 1860’s as the Village School. The school was closed in 1948.  It is designated as a Grade II listed Building. The Village Hall is owned by the villagers of Nash and the Deeds to the Hall state that the ”property shall be held for the villages of Nash and neighbourhood without distinction of sex or political opinion for the purposes of recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the life of the inhabitants.”

The Village Hall is administered by the Nash Village Hall Management Committee (NVHMV), whose members are elected at the Annual General Meeting normally held in May. The current officers are Mike Williams  (Chairman), John Southby (Treasurer) and Eve Chapman (Secretary)

The Hall includes the Main Hall equipped with a sound and projection system with TV, DVD and Blu-ray equipment, and dimmable mood lighting, an annexe suitable for activities involving a small number of people, a lobby with disabled toilet facilities, and a well equipped kitchen.
