Millennium Chronicle, 1999

This is a black timbered cottage dating from the 17th century, with thatched roof and thick walls crossed with woodwork. It has numbered beams upstairs and definite traces of “Cruck” construction. “The Firs” was the village shop of Nash until the early nineteen hundreds, and sold “everything” even gun powder!
