Mr Patrick John Corcoran and Mrs Jean Mary Corcoran

“Peartree is a beautiful cottage with a very friendly feel to the place. It was built around 1700. Approximately 15 – 20 years or so ago, the then owner restored the cottage and it contains many original features. The lounge has an Inglenook style fireplace and a quaint walk-in cupboard, the dining room has a 19th century fireplace which retains the old bread oven.  Upstairs the larger of the two bedrooms has a cathedral style ceiling. There are extensive exposed timber beams throughout, many of which are original. There are also some original wattle and daub walls. All in all a delightful cottage to live in.”
